PLANNING

Ultimately you are responsible for what you do with the product provided. We can guide you and help you with the process but you need to be satisfied that you have done enough to meet whatever local conditions there might be. Having said that, don’t be put off by the paperwork involved. The safety of the final occupants is paramount and should be considered at all stage.

The process may be complicated slightly, or perhaps expedited, by the fact that the UK does not have any regulations concerning fallout shelters. The last time there were any such regulations was in the 1980’s and there are currently no plans to update them.

We have worked hard to ensure though that our shelters meet the standards of other nations which do have an industry around shelters. Having established the requirements for similar shelters we have been careful to meet or exceed these requirements so that our shelters are in line with future UK regulations.
